– Roots: Another common issue is tree roots. They are naturally drawn to the fertile water in your sewer line. They often grow around them and crush them or push through the pipes completely. This can wreak havoc on your sewer line. It is vital that before any trees are planted on your property that there is thought put into it. You need to think about its growth and what will happen when the tree gets larger. Try and plant them away from the sewer line in the ground.
– Blockages in Main Line: The city is in charge of the main sewer line connected to your house. If there is a blockage in this line, it can cause it to back up into your house. If there is a sewer main blockage, it is going to impact all the drains in your house at once.
